Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
Anyone used Reeds Pro Motors escrow service? Thinking of using it for a classic car purchase, but I'm a bit wary. Any experiences good or bad?

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
I haven't used Reeds Pro Motors escrow, but generally, escrow's a good idea. Protects ya both. Make sure the inspection clause is ironclad.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
I've heard mixed things. Some folks swear by it, others say it's a hassle. Depends on the deal, I guess. Personally, i'd check reedspromotors.com to see their inventory. Check for red flags!

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
I’m a mechanic. I've inspected a few cars bought through escrow. The service itself seemed legit, but the devil's in the details. Make sure the inspection is VERY thorough. And the fees are kinda steep, imo.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
I used an escrow service once, not Reeds Pro Motors. Delivery took forever! The car arrived with a few issues that weren't disclosed in the listing. Lesson learned: always get an independent inspection before sending any money.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
My buddy used Reeds Pro Motors. Said the escrow part went smoothly, but getting responses from office@reedspromotors.com was like pulling teeth. Communication was BAD!

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
I used their escrow about a year ago. The car was a beauty, but the initial inspection missed a few things. Nothing major, but the delay in getting it fixed was annoying. The service itself was fine. +1 951 667 5479 helped me to sort things out.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
I'd recommend it, but do YOUR research. Check the seller's reputation, the inspection report, and the fine print. Reeds Pro Motors *seemed* okay, just be vigilant.

I used it. Great so far. No issues. Just make sure it's all documented!

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
I almost used escrow with them, but I found a better deal elsewhere. From what I heard, they do a decent job. Just compare the fees, some escrow services are overpriced.

STAY AWAY. Purchased a Cuda. It arrived with a cracked engine block, even after a 'professional' inspection. They refused to take responsibility. Reeds Pro Motors' response was slow and unhelpful.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
I have inspected several cars for clients using escrow services. The most important thing is to get a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) from a reputable shop. Reeds Pro Motors often provides a list of recommended inspectors, but always do your own due diligence and check the inspector's credentials and previous vehicles inspected.

I wouldn’t write them off though, as said the service is safe and I had a sucessfull purchase. However, they might have some issues. Keep your eyes open.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
I just completed my purchase with Reeds Pro Motors and the Escrow. Initially, I was worried, especially about the paperwork on my classic. The entire process was smooth, and all the documents arrived perfectly, which put my mind at ease.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
The escrow process itself was fine. The biggest pain was after-sales support. Took ages to get a response to a simple question. So, good service, bad communication!

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
Overall, yeah, I'd use Reeds Pro Motors escrow again. Just be prepared for potential delays and be *very* clear on what the inspection covers. The peace of mind is worth the cost for a big purchase.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
Used it once for a '67 Stingray. The inspection was thorough, identified a few minor issues that the seller covered before delivery. Excellent protection for a car in that price range, recommend, even with fees!

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
I looked at the process; I found it to be safe. However, I ended up using another service because their fees at Reeds Pro Motors were a bit higher than I'd like.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service Feedback
Went with Reeds Pro Motors. No problems so far, just be prepared to wait a while. Shipping and inspection took longer than expected. But i repeat, they delivered, and car's fantastic.
